Relying on Order 43 of the Senate standing rules, Sani raised a point of order during plenary on the need to address security concerns in the country.

Sani, who said this while contributing to the report of the Senate ad-hoc Committee on the Review of the Current Security Infrastructures in Nigeria, slammed President Buhari for watching while things are no more working in the country.

Sani said people should no longer respond only after such attacks happen, but unite to crush groups perpetrating the dastardly acts.
The senator described El-Rufai as a desperate and drunken power maniac, adding that the governor is a Lilliputian despot whose hearts and liver cannot take or stand criticism
Sani said: “The All Progressives Congress position on corrupt allegation is that it is still an allegation and the issue is still in court, which the Senate committee should not have entertained in the first place
