The leadership of the Buhari group who visited Kalu in his Abuja residence on Monday noted that the country needs a detribalized citizen who understands the politics of the Northern and Southern Nigeria, adding that Kalu fits into Nigeria’s need in 2023.

With population estimated to be in the neighbourhood of 15 million, Somalia was Africa’s most culturally homogeneous country. The country has two official languages – Somali and Arabic – and its inhabitants were basically Muslims and Sunni. However, in 1991, Somali erupted in a fratricidal war which led to many Somalis fleeing Mogadishu and other places in search of asylum. It was so bad that the UNHCR recorded 975,951 Somali refugees, even as at 2016, with 1.1 million internally displaced persons. They were displaced as a result of periodic droughts, armed violence, as well as other natural disasters.
The organization said: “The high-profile corruption cases include 103 cases reportedly sent by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] in 2017, and the 15 allegedly missing case files sent by the now defunct Special Presidential Investigation Panel on the Recovery of Public Property, [SPIP] in 2019 to Mr Malami.”
The Council told the President in a letter on Monday that the Nigerian youths will be productively engaged and less prone to criminality if security improves.
The group made this known to journalists on Thursday at a rally held in Tafawa Balewa Local government of Bauchi State to show their support for the president and Dogara.
This is good news for democracy and a proud moment for Nigeria. While impossible to go back in time and change the past, we must do our utmost to correct the wrongs of the past.
