The Chairman of the forum, Governor Abubakar Yari made this call in an interview with newsmen in Abuja on Thursday.

Yari, who stated this while responding to questions after the meeting of NEC which was chaired by Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo at the presidential villa, Abuja on Thursday, said the governors would next month (June) take decision on whether to take responsibility for the subsidy in their states or not.

He said the decision was unacceptable to the union, adding that removing the subsidy without any corresponding increase in purchasing power would have a negative multiplier effect on all aspects of the economy
