The Para-athletics Federation of Nigeria says it will organise a national trial in the South-East ahead of the World Championships in November.

Kasumu told the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos that the championships which served as qualifiers for the 2019 World Championship slated from October 23 to October 29.

Ogu told the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday in Abuja that the federation would also encourage government to designate some of the special schools as model centres for physically challenged persons.

Ogu told the News Agency on Tuesday in Abuja, that the call became necessary because of the inadequate investment in sports, a situation, which he said had contributed to the collapse of the sector.
