The millionaires include: Williams F. Atinuke, a customer of Ikorodu Local Govt branch; Bello G. Amthe, a customer of Maiduguri branch and Sani Mohammed, a customer of Kura branch, Kano. Others are Okoro N. Arua, a customer of Aba Factory Road branch, Abia State; Ndidi M. Ebagua, a customer of Benin Main branch, Edo State and Ogunbowale Isola, a customer of Sokenu Road branch, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Other 60 lucky customers who also emerged from across the six geo-political zones, won N100,000 each during the draw which held at the Bank’s headquarters in Lagos. The promo which ends in April 2021 is designed to enrich Nigerians with a N26 million pay-out
In a bid to tackle challenges of dwindling revenue, the Director General, National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Lanre Gbajabiamila, has asked all erring lottery operators to defray all debts owed to the Federal Government or face stiff sanctions, which may include revocation of licenses, as well as arrests and prosecution.
One of the special guests at the launch of the promo, Deputy Director, National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Nkiru Onuzulu, who described Globacom as a credible brand, assured Nigerians of the credibility of the Glo promo, adding: “NLRC is here because we have given approval to Glo and that means due process has been followed. We will ensure that everything promised will be delivered.”
