Mouka, a charismatic preacher, gave the warning during a two-day revival held at the ministries’ headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos state.
The foremost company is partnering with the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy to raise awareness for the importance of quality sleep as a bedrock for overall mental and physical health during the holy month.
The award was in recognition of Fapohunda’s commitment to outstanding manufacturing practices and consistency in the quality of the company’s remarkable brands, which has earned it the number-one position in Nigeria’s sleep industry.
The visit to the market leader in the mattresses and beddings sector of the Nigerian economy was disclosed on Friday.
The products which are additions to the company’s existing brand portfolio include the Royal Luxury Pillow Top Spring mattress, Mouka Hybrid Wellbeing mattress, Mouka Wellbeing Topper mattress, Mouka Bio Pillow, and the Royal Memory Foam Pillow which depicts innovation and high standard ever sustained in the sector.
These machines were installed in a purpose-built facility within its headquarters in Lagos State, South West, Nigeria.
The donation was made by Mouka’s Chief Commercial Officer, Dimeji Osingunwa, to the Chief Operating Officer of Chess in Slums, Africa, Emmanuel Abiodun Oke, and his team on Tuesday, 24 May, 2022, at Mouka’s head office in Lagos.
In commemoration of this year’s World Sleep Day, themed “Quality Sleep, Sound Mind, Happy World,” a global and annual event held on March 18 and dedicated to advocating and raising awareness for sleep health, the duo jointly deployed an educational campaign across the country.
The award presentation ceremony was held at D’Podium International Event Centre in Lagos. It was well attended by its Business Partners, staff, gentlemen of the media and other key stakeholders on February 5, 2022, where accolades were showered on the leading brand in the industry.
Mouka has continued to run this program consistently in partnership with the Lagos government. At this year’s ceremony, Mouka presented gifts to mothers of the first babies at the Harvey Road Health Center and Maternity, Yaba, Lagos Mainland. At the same time, this same gesture was replicated in other locations in the state, such as Onikan Health Center and Lagos Island Maternity center. Locations outside Lagos were not left out as first babies were celebrated by the brand in Ogun, Oyo, Edo, Imo, Enugu, Rivers, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Kaduna, Kano and Plateau States.
According to the CEO of Mouka, Raymond Murphy, this transaction sets the scene for bigger and greater things for the Mouka brand with this affiliation with a regional market leader.
This is in addition to dominating the media space with its new thematic campaign: “Get The Mouka For You.”
The company recently announced the launch of its eco-friendly mattress called Eco-Comfy.
