While the Queens and Eagles are arriving in Nigeria aboard a chartered flight, the Lionesses are coming into town aboard a Royal Air Maroc flight.

Scheduled for two venues (Mobolaji Johnson Arena and Agege Stadium) in the City of Lagos, the six-nation invitational brings together the A Women Teams hosts Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Mali, Morocco and South Africa.

Two weeks ago, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State had assured the LOC members that work would proceed at the facility to ensure its readiness to host matches of the maiden edition of the Aisha Buhari Cup.

Nigeria and Morocco will square up in the opening match of the tournament at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan on Monday, 13th September.

The Governor approved 10 hectares of land in Idera, Ibeju Lekki, and Badagry for workers housing schemes.
