Hassan, a bus conductor, and Lateef, a tricycle driver, were arraigned before Magistrate A.S. Odusanya on four counts of conspiracy, belonging to an unlawful society, assault and stealing.

Magistrate A.S Odusanya, who did not take the suspects, Tuesday, directed the police to return the case file to the state Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice.
Ogunyinka, a resident of Isolo, Lagos State, however, pleaded not guilty to intent to commit felony.
The police charged Bassey Ita, 27, a hairstylist; Victor Bassey, 22, a mechanic; and Nofia Mohammed, 20, a motorcyclist with conspiracy, theft and receiving stolen goods.
Adeniyi, who lives at Ijaiye, Lagos, is being tried for breach of peace and intent to commit felony.
The presiding Magistrate, A.S Odusanya, pronounced the verdict after the defendant pleaded guilty to the two counts of breach of peace and demanding money with menace.
Oladipupo, who resides in Ikosi- Ketu area of Lagos, is being tried for conspiracy and robbery.
The defendant, who lives at Abule-Egba, Lagos, is being tried for stealing.
An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court, which gave the ruling, said that the defendant should remain behind bars pending review of the facts of the case and sentencing.

The police charged Ebena, who resides at Ajagbadi, Lagos, with reckless driving, damage and manslaughter.
The court also refused to take the plea of the defendant following the motion by the prosecutor, Inspector Emmanuel Ajayi, that the matter should be referred to the state Director of Public Prosecution for legal advice.
