The News Agency of Nigeria reports that this was revealed by CCTV footage of the incident which was played by the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry for Restitution for Victims of SARS Related Abuses and Other Matters.
The Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, and the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Burtai, both denied the CNN report that live bullets were fired at the protesters by soldiers.
