The League Bloggers Awards has shortlisted four players and four coaches to vie for the February player and manager’s awards in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

Chinedu Anozie and Uche Okagbue, both of FC Ifeanyiubah, have been named the Player and Manager respectively in the NPFL for the month of January.
Abara has been particularly impressive in his interim role as head coach at Tornadoes since he took charge from Erasmus Onuh, who was relieved of his managerial duties in February.
Lokosa saw off challenges from Kwara United striker Stephen Alfred, Wikki Tourists defender Isaac Giwa and Enugu Rangers goalkeeper Femi Thomas to emerge the top performer among players for the month of February.

Okpotu, with 19 goals, was also adjudged the Highest Goalscorer of the season to cap an eventful night of awards on Tuesday
The organisers initially announced that the event will take place on October 31, but have now adjusted the schedule for the award ceremony to have a hitch-free ceremony.
They are Lobi Stars striker Anthony Okpotu, Gombe United youngster Sani Abbani, Akwa United’s Musa Newman and Godwin Obaje of FC Ifeanyiubah.

The trio of Kabiru Dogo of Nasarawa United, Abdullahi Biffo of Abia Warriors and Kadiri Ikhana of Kano Pillars fell short as their teams got 11 points apiece
The winning coach and player will be presented with their awards in the coming days
The list is made up of four managers and four players from the top division in the country
The award-winning 19-year-old forward, who was absolutely impressive for MFM FC in the month of January, scoring four goals from four Nigerian top league games, beat off competition from his teammate, Olatunbosun Sikiru, Kabiru Umar of Plateau United and Olufemi Thomas of Rivers United to win the Player of the Month Award
The duo win the first individual award from the independent LBA in the current NPFL season on the back of impressive performances for their clubs
In the player’s category, Rivers United attacking midfielder Frederick Obomate, Anthony Okpotu of Lobi Stars, Michael Olaha of Abia Warriors and 3SC hat-trick hero, Wasiu Jimoh, are in the running for the February edition of the LBA.
