Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola SAN, Monday blamed loss of value system and policy inconsistency for the nation’s lack of sustainable development saying in order to ensure continuity in the policy implementation, officers of government must be made to learn the ropes of governance by experience.

Governor of Niger state Dr. Mua’azu Babangida Aliyu on Sunday refuted a report credited to him in some national dailies that he has opted for anointed Jigawa state Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido as the Peoples Democratic candidate for next year Presidential election.
Also on the delegation were Mohammed Abacha, the son of late Head of State, General Sani Abacha; former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ghali Umar Na’Abba; and Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Muktar Shagari
In a statement on his behalf by his spokesperson, Dr. Reuben Abati, Jonathan described the claim by Lamido as “grossly irresponsible”
The Special Assistant to Governor Kwankwaso, Baba Dantiye, who confirmed the meeting to The Eagle Online, said Governor Babangida Aliyu of Niger State could not attend because he is in Saudi Arabia for Lesser Hajj
The close-door meeting, which took place at the personal residence of the former president on Sama Road, Sokoto, lasted for about one hour
