TETfund has been doing very well in bridging the Infrastructural Gaps in Tertiary Institutions across the country especially now under the leadership direction of its current Chairman. Some States owned Institutions of Higher Learning have no source of capital budget except through TETfund. It is therefore good for Tetfund to look into other areas of national development and that’s why Research has become an important national agenda to promote.

The Kaduna Polytechnic Chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics has complied with the indefinite strike declared by the national body on Wednesday.
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Dr Masa’udu Kazaure, made this known in Kaduna on Thursday, at the end of the Second Regular Meeting of the NBTE Governing Board. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Modupe Adelabu.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the students prevented leacturers and other staff from gaining entrance into the polytechnic.
The Publicity Secretary of the chapter, Abbas Muhammad, told the News Agency of Nigeria in a telephone interview that the action was taken following alleged failure of the polytechnic’s management to respect earlier agreements.
