Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Adm. Ibok-Ete Ibas, stated this on Saturday during the inauguration of a naval medical centre and gulf course at the Nigerian Navy Ship Pathfinder in Port Harcourt.
The Nigerian Navy has inducted 57 new officers to join its fight against crude oil theft, sea piracy in the Niger Delta and insurgency in the North East, an official said.
Dan-Ali gave the assurance on Monday in Lagos while inaugurating 16 patrol vessels, which would be deployed to patrol and police key oil installations within the nation’s maritime domain.
The Chief of Naval Staff, who disclosed this during a news conference on Tuesday in Abuja, said the faculties are include: Arts and Social Sciences, Management Sciences and Science.
Ibas made the call during the graduation of 174 Junior Officers Course 85 at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji in Kaduna.

The naval chief disclosed this at a news conference on Tuesday in Abuja as part of activities to mark Navy’s 62nd anniversary celebration taking place between May 23 and June 1.
