The Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, on Monday swore in Hakeem Muri-Okunola as the 21st Head of Service of the State, with a charge on him to inject fresh ideas, vibrancy and new energy that will take the public service to new heights and make Lagos a globally recognized City-State with a commitment to efficiency, effectiveness, innovation and creativity in service delivery.
Muri-Okunola said: “There are places the government has provided like we have in Okobaba, where beggars are in clusters; people can go there and give them alms
“The resultant shortfall arose as a result of a reduction of about 40 per cent in the revenue expected to be generated from transactions on state land and capital contribution,” Muri-Okunola said
