Gnmen on Sunday attacked worshipers at the St. Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu, in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State, killing no fewer than 20 persons and leaving scores injured.

The Group, in a statement signed by the Acting Chairman, Hon. Austin Braimoh, and its Secretary, Chief Cassidy Madueke, dismissed claims by Governor Ayo Fayose that the Military is corrupt, mischievous and ill-motivated.

The governor said great Africans like former President Goodluck Jonathan, President John Mahama of Ghana and others who have lost elections and conceded defeat were in the best position to intervene in Gambia and not someone like Buhari, who lost election three times and never conceded defeat
Fayose said: “Free, fair and credible election is dead in the country and that whatever victory that is recorded by any political party in the Rivers State election will be nothing but victory at gun-point.”
Fayose spoke in Ilupeju-Ekiti, Oye Local Government Area of the state, while inaugurating the redeveloped Menara Market in the town.

He said: “Much as I would have loved to congratulate the winner, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN), because in every contest, there must be a winner and a loser, the role of INEC in awarding victory to him in the election left much to be desired.”

Fayose, through his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, approached the court for an order ordering the EFCC, the first respondent, and Zenith Bank, the second respondent, to immediately lift the freeze order on the accounts

Speaking during the contract award in Ado Ekiti on Thursday, the Chairman, MDGs Implementation in the state, Chief Dipo Anisulowo, said awarding the contracts to local artisans in the project was a fulfillment of Governor Ayodele Fayose’s government’s policy thrust for promotion of local contents
The spokesmen said: “We have observed that Fayose’s public conducts suggest that he has a disease of the mind and mental crisis that need a great assay of science and spiritual intervention to save him before he becomes dangerous to the society
