Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) of the UK Government, the Multisectoral Integrated Nutrition Action (MINA) project is being implemented by UNICEF and other partners in 24 Local Government Areas of Borno and Yobe states till March 2025.

The advisory from the UK through its Foreign and Commonwealth Office followed concerns on the possibility of terrorists carrying out attacks in Nigeria.

The action followed a petition to the British Parliament by a group, Igbo for a Progressive Nigeria, demanding details about the allegation.
