The Police Command in Taraba Monday confirmed the electrocution of a family of four around Dinyavo area of Jalingo, the state capital.

An unidentified man was electrocuted while trying to steal transformer cables in the early hours of Friday inside the premises of Niger State Printing Press in Minna.
A man, Engr. Mohammed Faworaja, who is said to be in his 30s died after he was chased by a dog while going to buy sardine in Ilọrin, the Kwara State capital. Daily Trust gathered that the incident occurred around the Asa Dam Warah/Osin area.
He was said to have been electrocuted at about 5pm on Tuesday while charging his iPhone 8 with public electric supply.
The commiseration was contained in a statement signed by John Ayodele, IBEDC Chief Operating Officer.
A police official said: “The freak incident took place in Chennari area of the state’s Rohtas district late Tuesday night when a live high-tension power wire fell on a group of people sitting on top of a bus.”
