Mmesoma, a student of Anglican Girls Secondary School in Nnewi, has been a subject of intense debate in the last five days over the claim that she got 362 in this year’s UTME.

This followed the adoption of a motion by Rep. Awaji-Inombek Abiante (PDP-Bayelsa) at plenary in Abuja Wednesday.
While Ejikeme Mmesoma, who (allegedly) paraded herself as the top scorer is from Anambra state, the real 2023 top scorer Umeh Nkechinyere with an aggregate score of 360 is also from the state.
Mmesoma has been accused of forging her examination result which indicated that she scored 362, but has since debunked this, insisting that she actually scored 249.
Residents said this in Nsukka Tuesday in separate interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) while reacting to the three-year ban on Mmesoma Ejikeme by JAMB over alleged manipulation of her results score from 249 to 362.
Ejikeme made the disclosure while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Monday in Onitsha, Anambra State capital.
