According to a statement by the Special Adviser (Media) to the Governor, Yinka Oyebode, the commissioning would take place at the new bus terminal Complex, Ijoka road, by 4pm.

In the suit, HAD/10/2023, filed before an Ekiti State High Court on January 25, 2023, Fayemi is demanding N250 million from Otitoju and another N250 million from Arise TV for alleged defamatory statements made by the politician as an analyst on the television station on November 22, 2022.
A cross section of the pensioners who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria in Ikole-Ekiti, said that they are patiently waiting for Oyebanji to commence payment of the backlog of gratuities in 2023.

Fayemi, who stated this in Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday during the 2022 World Teachers Day disclosed that the commendable attitude of teachers informed the various exploits his administration has recorded in the education sector, urging them to brace for the task ahead as the new administration would take the baton of leadership in few days.
This, he said was in line with provisions of Ekiti State Honours Roll Law, No 41 of 2019 and part of the move by the state government to promote the ethos and values associated with Ekiti people.
The election was held after a conference in Casablanca region, Morocco, at the weekend.
The committee is to be led by Ekiti State First Lady, Erelu Bisi Fayemi as Chairperson, while Wife of the Governor-elect, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji is Co-Chairperson. Seun Odewale, Director General, Bureau of Public Procurement, will serve as Secretary to the committee.
