This open declaration of war on the people of Rivers State is only reaffirming our earlier position and fear that all the actions and ‘body language’ of the All Progressive Congress (APC) since it took over power in May, 2015 is gearing towards erasing democracy and installing full blown dictatorship in Nigeria
The Court of Appeal panel led by Justice Ibrahim Salauwa on Tuesday set aside the ruling of Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court recognising Jimoh Ibrahim as PDP candidate in the Ondo state guber poll

In addition to freezing Chief Fani-Kayode’s accounts, the Federal Government has ordered the freezing of accounts of his wife, Precious Chikwendu, several of which were opened and operated long before their marriage. These accounts have been frozen for no reason other than her marriage to Chief Fani-Kayode
Adeyeye said: “Members of the caretaker committee are not there on their own, they were appointed by the party and they have to carry the party along in all they are doing
This was contained in a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Dayo Adeyeye, on Wednesday in Abuja
According to Adeyeye, the motion seeking to restrain the PDP from conducting the proposed August 17 National Convention has not been heard by the court

The minister said: “The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, has proven over time that he does not believe in the unity of Nigeria and it will be suicidal for such a person to govern the country
Adeyeye said: “Buhari must be rejected by all true sons and daughters of Oduduwa.”
The Minister said Buhari did incalculable damage to Lagos State and the entire Yorubaland with the cancellation of the Lagos Metroline Project and the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s Free Education Programme, in which pupils only needed to buy school uniform to go to school.
He challenged Buhari to mention one single project that he did in the South West when he was Head of State and Chairman of the Petroleum Trust.
Adeyeye said: “Buhari did not only cancel the Metroline Project, he went ahead to pay what was enough to complete the project as compensation to the French Company that handled the project.
“The idea of developing rapid transit in Lagos dated from the 1980s with the Lagos Metroline network conceived by the Alhaji Lateef Jakande during the Second Republic.
“The Metroline project was scrapped in 1985 by Buhari at a loss of over $78 million to the Lagos tax payers. Information on the Metroline Project is on Wikipedia for everyone to see.
“If Buhari had not cancelled that project out of hatred for the Yoruba people, transportation in Lagos would have been better than it is now and one can begin to imagine the number of lives and investments that had been lost to Buhari’s wickedness
Adeyeye said Buhari’s failure to produce his certificates would amount to a clear confirmation that he has something to hide
According to a statement by GOCOP on Wednesday, the Minister was quoted as having said: “It is far easier to read now online, especially when one is on the move.
“I get story alerts on my phones and iPad

Details of his death were still sketchy as at press time
The minister said he was proud to be part of the June 21 governorship election in Ekiti State, which, according to him, has forced the APC governors to embark on desperate review of their anti-people policies
Adeyeye said: “Ekiti State has through our Governor-Elect, Dr. Ayodele Fayose, opened the floodgate of victory for the PDP in the South West and nothing will stop the victory ship from berthing in Osun State on Saturday
In a release issued by its Director General, Hon. Bisi Kolawole, PAAM described manipulation of used electoral materials as APC stock-in-trade, adding that the party did the same in 2011
