The State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, stated this at the six-day CSDP Management Retreat and Review Meeting, which was declared open on Wednesday at the Premier Hotel in Ibadan.

Oyetola said that rural electrification project has been fully captured in the 2021 budget, recently presented to the state parliament.
AbdulAzeez disclosed this when he received the District Head of Ketare in Kankara Local Government Area of the state, Alhaji Bello Kankara, who was on a thank-you visit to the CSDP office in Katsina on Saturday.
While presenting checks to the beneficiaries, including the traders at Atakumosa Market, Governor Oyetola explained: “State government raised N100 million and that the World Bank through the Osun Agency for Community and Social Development Project contributed N100 million to rebuild the market.”
A community leader, Tiamiyu Adebisi, while speaking on behalf of the people of Eyingun community, said the project was executed by the community with support from Osun Agency for Community and Social Development Project.
The Task Team Leader of the World Bank Community and Social Development Programme, Prof. Foluso Okunmadewa, disclosed this in Jos, the Plateau State capital, during an interactive session with Chairmen of the 11 Local Governments in the State that are implementing the Community and Social Development Programme in the state.
The intervention and disbursement was carried out to enable six “poorest of the poor” communities, which were identified by the World Bank, to execute choice projects in their various communities.
The villagers said prior to the CSDP intervention, they had been suffering for decades as a result of the deplorable condition of the road leading to the village.
