A Karu Upper Area Court in Abuja, Tuesday, sentenced a 47-year-old butcher, Bawale Gangara, to eight months in prison for duping his friend of N190,000 realised from cow sale.

The accused, who is married with two wives and seven children, allegedly committed the crime on May 6.

Amaraizu said that the deceased, Ifeanyi Egwuagu, a renowned Enugu-based butcher, was killed on January 14 at about 10:30 p.m.
