Governor Hyacinth Alia has inaugurated the Benue State University (BSU) Makurdi visitation panel to audit the institution from 2016 to date.

Justice Inyang Ekwo gave the order after adoption of Memorandum of Undertaking (MOU) by lawyers representing parties in the suit.

The state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Lawrence Onoja, made the confirmation on Friday at a news conference in Makurdi.

Speaking during the ceremony at the People’s House in Makurdi, Wim Belt, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of HEPC, said the project would provide 5,000 jobs and education to the local populace
