Speaking from Washington DC after a visit to his mother, Elder Eunice Uzor Kalu, the international businessman disclosed his relationship with the Bush family dates decades ago and expressed appreciation for the way Mrs. Bush and her husband had encouraged him over the years. 

Bush’s death was confirmed by her son, George, in a statement

“She is surrounded by a family she adores and appreciates the many kind messages and especially the prayers she is receiving,” the statement added

The 92-year-old will remain in the hospital for much of the week, but was in good spirits
