The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Buhari arrived the Maiduguri International Airport at 10.30 a.m. in company of his Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abba Kyari.

The President’s aircraft landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 4:35pm, where he was received by senior government officials, including: his Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abba Kyari, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Alhaji Musa Bello.
This was the high point of the discussion of top Ondo officials and oil top majors in a crucial meeting held in the office of the Chief of Staff to the President, Alhaji Abba Kyari, at the Presidential Villa.
One of them said: “Kyari always rubbed minds with his juniors and seniors officers. He doesn’t mind the person’s status. His ability to mix with local people makes it easy for him to know the terrain of a case. He ensures that his men are fully briefed on their missions. He gives his men room to ask questions and chip in their ideas. He ensures his men are fully motivated and all their logistics taken care of.”
