The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, Lagos State branch, on Thursday fixed March 6 to March 9 for the burial of ace broadcaster, late Walter Oyatogun.
Oyatogun, an ex-sports broadcaster with the Nigerian Television Authority, died on February 14.
His daughter, Mofe Oyatogun, had said that her father died after suffering from “several attacks of stroke”.
SWAN, in a statement signed by its Lagos State Chairman, Fred Edoreh, said that the activities would kick off with a “Lap of Honour,” that is jogging and a work out, on March 6.
The statement said that the jogging would hold at the National Stadium, Lagos.
It also said that there would be a Service of Songs on March 7 at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.
According to the statement, interment would hold on March 9 at the family vault in Ikoyi.
