Sunshine skipper slapped 6-match ban

The League Management Company (LMC) has imposed a six-match ban on Sunshine Stars captain Sunday Abe for attacking the referee during a league match at Shooting Stars.
Abe head butted and kicked the referee during a Week 28 game against Shooting Stars in Ibadan.
The League body also fined Sunshine Stars player Dayo Ojo the sum of N50, 000 for shoving a ball boy during the same game against Shooting Stars in Ibadan.
Shooting Stars and Sunshine Stars have been fined N500, 000 each for their general conduct capable of bringing the league to disrepute.
Shooting Stars are charged for the conduct of their supporters capable of bringing the league to disrepute.
Sunshine Stars have also been charged for the failure of their players and officials to show due respect to the decisions of the match officials in the Week 28 game against Shooting Stars in Ibadan.
The affected parties have 48 hours to accept or appeal the decisions.
