Stoke City have been forced to drop their pursuit of Nigerian star, Sunday Mba.
The Potters have given up on signing Sunday Mba from Enugu Rangers
after he was told he would not be granted a work permit.
Mba has also been linked with Arsenal this year.
The Nigeria midfielder enjoyed a breakthrough season following his
match-winning Afcon contributions and is hoping his rise to prominence
will bring about a move.
The Nigeria midfielder was linked with a transfer to Arsenal following
his superb displays at the Africa Cup of Nations, but a contract
wrangle with Warri Wolves put on hold his ambitions of playing in
Europe.
