Tottenham have won their battle to sign Nigerian youngster, Musa Yahaya, labeled the next Andres Iniesta, beating Barcelona to his signature.
Yahaya was part of the extremely talented Nigerian side that lifted the U17 World Cup last year and has become the latest player to complete a big move in Europe.
Reports have it that the Spanish champions, Barcelona, were in talks over a move but Spurs swooped in and sealed a deal for the talented midfielder.
It was gathered that Yahaya will have a medical at White Hart Lane by the end of this week and once completed, will sign a five-year deal with the North London club.
The Nigerian youngster won’t be able to move until he turns 17, however, and will stay on at African club, Mutunchy Academy, until he is eligible for a UK work permit.
Yahaya scored four goals as Nigeria went on to win the U17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
