Spotlite aided by biased officiating, Ranchers Bees allege

The Media Officer of Ranchers Bees FC of Kaduna, Vincent Akinbami, has called on the board of Nigeria National League to pay more attention to this weekend’s match at the Katsina Stadium.
Akinbami stated that the call became necessary due to alleged intimidation of teams and poor officiating recorded in the last two home matches of Spotlite FC at the Katsina Stadium.
He said: “The first one was their 3-2 win over DSS of Kaduna where Spotlite scored three penalties in the last 10 minutes of the game to come from 2-0 goals down and won 3-2 and also Spotlite 1-0 victory against Jos University Teaching Hospital, where a controversial goal was awarded to Spotlite.
“If our league must improve, issue of poor officiating must be properly addressed.
“Our boys are highly motivated as they have just been paid their January salary and bonus for two matches.
“Victory is on our mind.
“We only pray for a level playing ground.
“The focus of the NNL board should be on Katsina where alleged dubious act has been taking place in officiating.”
Meanwhile, the management of Ranchers Bees, led by Hon. Abdulazeez Mohammed, has unveiled 30 players recruited into the reserve team known as Kaduna Bees.
The team manager of the Feeder team is Alhaji Shaba while the officer is  Zakari Umar.
Also named as the Chief Coach is  Akilu Adamu (Zagalo).
Assistant coaches are Abdulahi Ibrahim (Tele) and Abdulahi Alaye, while the captain of the team is Sulieman Sadau.
Kaduna Bees will compete in the Nationwide League Division One, which kicks off this weekend.
The team will play away to NAF Rocket in Abuja on Saturday.
