Siju Iluyomade, the wife of the Senior Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Lagos State, Idowu Iluyomade, has labelled her 60th birthday as unforgettable.
The Founder of Arise Women spoke in a post on her Instagram page on Tuesday amid criticism of the birthday bash.
This followed the death of one of the major financiers of the City of David Parish of the RCCG and Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings PLC, Herbert Wigwe, about a week before the birthday bash at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.

The birthday bash, which had Flavour on the band stand, was preceded by a thanksgiving service at the City of David Parish.
Wigwe died in a helicopter crash in California, United States of America with his wife and another major financier of the church, Chizoba; his eldest son, Chizi; and a former Chairman of the Nigeria Exchange Commission, Abimbola Ogunbanjo.
Speaking on her Instagram page amid the criticism of the birthday bash (https://t.co/TWxbOS9Ach), Iluyomade wrote: “Unforgettable 60: Grateful for a spectacular Diamond Jubilee celebration!
“Thank you to everyone who made it unforgettable.
“Here’s to cherished memories, lasting moments, and many more milestones ahead.
“Diamonds are Forever!”
Before the party at Eko Hotel and Suites, Iluyomade had made reference to the death of Wigwe at the thanksgiving service.
She said: “He was faithful and dedicated, but God chose to call Herbert home.
“Not only him, but his wife and son.
“On the day I heard it, I screamed.
“I thought it happened in Nigeria.”
