Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command on Wednesday declared a manhunt for a woman identified simply as Mummy Chinaza for allegedly killing the wife of her landlord over minor scuffle.
The spokesperson of the Command, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the development in a statement on Thursday.
She said the case was reported at Sango Ota Police Division by the husband of the deceased, Okafor Theophilus.

Odutola, a Superintendent of Police, disclosed that Theophilus, a resident of 10, Calabar Crescent, Akija, Ota, had gone to the station to report that his tenant, referred to as Mummy Chinaza, engaged in a physical altercation with his wife, Chinyere Theophilus, aged 39, over a minor disagreement.
The altercation resulted in Chinyere collapsing and subsequently being pronounced dead at the hospital.
The Police Spokesperson noted that detectives, following the report, visited the scene, documented evidence through photographs, and initiated a search for the suspect, Mummy Chinaza, who had fled.
Odutola however assured that the suspect will be apprehended in no time, adding that the victim’s body was transported to a private morgue in Agege, Lagos, pending further investigation.
