Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen has gifted the sum of N2.5 million to a young fan who dressed like him and displayed similar skills.
The video caught Osimhen’s attention when popular Instagram blogger, Tunde Ednut, posted the clip on his page on Tuesday.
In the video, the boy could be seen in a jersey with ‘Victor’ and the number ‘9’ at the back. He also wore a mask and had a hairstyle similar to Osimhen.
Reacting to the video, Osimhen requested Ednut’s assistance in locating the boy and found him in Ivory Coast with the help of a content creator, Eriq Morak.

Giving an update, Ednut wrote, “I initially thought this little man was Nigerian. You won’t believe we found him in Ivory Coast.
“#eriqmorak found him. He lives in Ivory Coast. I couldn’t see his message, so he reached out to #ogb recently_ and OGB messaged me. I spoke to the family briefly to make sure it was the boy.”
Osimhen subsequently contacted and presented the money to the boy, which was met with gratitude from his family. They shared a video thanking the footballer for his generosity.
