Saudi Arabian First League club, Al-Adalah, has confirmed the signing of Nigeria international, Eddy Onazi, on undisclosed terms.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations-winning central midfielder is the third player signed by Al-Adalah in the January transfer window.
Onazi comes with a rich pedigree, representing the Super Eagles in the 2014 World Cup and was in the team to the last tournament in Russia.
The My People product is well known for his stint at Italian side Lazio, for whom he made 110 appearances with seven goals and eight assists to his name.
His other clubs include Trabzonspor, Denizlispor (both Turkey), SønderjyskE (Denmark) and Zalgiris (Lithuania).
At the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, Onazi proved his versatility by playing as a right back in Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with Zambia and can also be deployed as an attacking midfielder.
The 29-year-old links up with Tunde Adeniji at Al-Adalah who occupies the second position in the Saudi second-tier with 36 points from 20 games.
