Nollywood veteran actor, Adebayo Salami, better known as Oga Bello, has picked September 25 and 28 for the celebration of his 50 years on stage.
According to a statement reaching The Eagle Online, the event will kick off on September 25 with a stage play titled: “Oloko Oba” at Agip Recital Hall of Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos Island.
It will be followed with a grand party, which holds on September 28 at Time Square Event Centre on Ajao Road, Ikeja, Lagos State.
Salami, while reacting to the preparation, said: “It feels good to look back and see how far I’ve come and it certainly calls for celebration.”
Further checks confirmed that the stage play is for selected 200 guests that would include eminent Nigerians such as politicians, top businessmen, brand executives, notable actors and the media.
The stage play will subsequently lead to the grand finale of the celebration, which takes place on Sunday in Ikeja area of Lagos State.
