Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, who on Saturday (today) clocks 43, has indicated interest to delve into politics.
Henshaw’s publicist, Egor Effiok, confirmed that she will be contesting for the Federal House of Representatives seat to represent Calabar Munical/Odukpani Federal Constituency in the next dispensation.
The mother of one, it was learnt, will contest on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party.
That is if she scale through the primaries, which is expected to take place in September.
Henshaw’s interest in politics cropped up after a few of her colleagues such as Bob Manuel Udokwu, Tony Oneweek, Richard Mofe Damijo and others joined politics and are presently serving in their respective state governments.
