Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday made a surprise appearance at the rally of one of the governorship aspirants on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State, Oladipupo Adebutu.
The rally was held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
The presence of Obasanjo led to wild jubilation by Adebutu and his supporters.
Obasanjo said: “I am just passing by and decided to say hello and wish you well.”
He immediately jumped into the jeep and he left with the convoy of cars in his trail to his residence situated within the premises.
