Super Eagles’ striker, Osaze Odemwingie has sensationally denied that there are witch doctors in the African Champions camp at the Brazil 2014 World Cup.
The Stoke City goal poacher stated that the idea of a witch doctor in Nigerian camp was a thing of the past, stressing that now it is fair game only.
“Do we have a personal witch doctor in our team? Of course not,” Osaze claimed. “If we ever had a witch doctor, then it was no less than 20 years ago.”
Osaze boasted that the Super Eagles is strongly determined to beat its previous World Cup record and make it through to the quarter finals.
“Nigeria’s record of at the World Cup is preliminary finals. We are going to get surpass this achievement. Our citizens wait for something more from us than leaving our group,” he added.
The Super Eagles are scheduled to do battle against Iran team on Monday, Bosnia and Herzegovina on June, 22 and Argentina on June, 25.
