The Federal Government has said that buses conveying Nigerian students from conflict-ridden Sudan have continued their journey after stopping somewhere in the desert on the trip to Egypt.
This development was made known by the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
Dabiri-Erewa said she contacted the Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency and the matter has been resolved.
In a tweet on her Twitter handle on Thursday, she said: “I have just spoken to @nemanigeriadg.
“He confirmed the buses have continued their Journey and said whatever issues have been resolved.”
