African Champions, the Super Eagles have dropped three places to the 37th position on the latest World football governing body, FIFA monthly ranking.
The three-African champions were ranked 34th in last month.
Nigeria had endured an horrific Morroco 2015 African Nations Cup qualifying campaign, losing 2-3 to Congo in Calabar and recorded a goalless draw with South Africa in Cape Town earlier this month.
On the continental ranking, Nigeria lies sixth with 642 points behind Algeria, Ivory Coast, Tunisia, Ghana and Senegal.
Meanwhile, the World Champions, Germany lead the table, while Argentina, Colombia, Netherlands and Belgium are other countries in the top five.
The next ranking will be published on October 23.
