Niger college blast: Provost plans school closure

The Provost of the Federal College of Education, Kotangora in Niger State, where a bomb blast occurred on Wednesday, Nathaniel Adediran, said that with the development, there is the possibility of closing down the school.
Adediran, who spoke with The Eagle Online, said the explosion occurred at exactly 12:30pm.
He said: “We, the management of the College, are meeting shortly for a possibility of closing down.”
Among those critically injured as a result of the explosion are Suleiman Mohammed and Danladi Muhhamed.
Also, the Niger State Police Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Gambari, confirmed the bomb blast but said only the suicide bomber died, leaving several others injured.
Gambari said the injured have been taken to the hospital and the State Anti-bomb squad has cordoned the area.
