A former governor of Anambra State and representative of Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Chris Ngige, on Thursday informed the Senate through a letter addressed to the Senate President, Senator David Mark, of his intention to contest the November 16, 2013 governorship election in Anambra State.
Ngige was a former governor of the state.
So also ha Senator Andy Uba, who represents Anambra South Senatorial District, notified the Senate of his intention to contest the Anambra State gubernatorial election.
Uba has also ruled the state before.
The letters of both Ngige and Uba were read on the floor of the red chambers of the National Assembly on Thursday by Mark.
