NGE concludes arrangements for Editors’ conference

All arrangements have been concluded by the Nigerian Guild of Editors to hold its annual All Nigeria Editors Conference in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, as scheduled.

The opening ceremony of the conference, with the theme: Nigeria: The change we need and the role of the Editor, will take place onAugust 27, 2015 at the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Yenagoa.

The Chairman of ANEC 2015 is veteran broadcaster and Chief Executive Officer of Channels Television, John Momoh, while the Special Guest of Honour is the Vice President ‎of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo , with the Governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson, as Chief Host.

The Guest Speaker is Prof. Etannibi Alemika of the Department of Sociology, University of Jos, Plateau State

More than 300 editors of various media houses from across the country are expected to attend the event.
