The matriarch of the Akin-Deko family in Idanreland, Ondo State, Chief Caroline Ebun Akin-Deko, is dead.
Akin-Deko was aged 93.
She passed away at her residence in Ibadan, Oyo State during a brief illness.
Akin-Deko, the Yeyeluwa of Idanreland, who also was a businesswoman and philanthropist, was the wife of the prominent politician and Minister of Agriculture in the old Western State, Chief Gabriel Akin-Deko.
She is survived by many children, grand children and great grand children, among whom are Dr. Akintunde, Akintayo and Adegboyega.
Her remains will be buried next to her late husband mausoleum at Odode-Idanre at a date to be announced.
