Nigerian international, John Obi Mikel joined Chelsea’s party to keep a date with Sporting Lisbon in Match Day 2 of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
The combative midfielder was named in Chelsea’s 20-man squad that travelled to Portugal to face Sporting Lisbon.
Mikel’s chances of making the starting line up grows against Lisbon grow increases with Ramires failing to make the trip due to injury.
The Nigerian has featured four times as a substitute in all competitions for Chelsea this season.
