Returnee striker, Obafemi Martins, is handed a starting role against the Harambee Stars of Kenya by Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi, in Saturday’s World Cup qualifier in Calabar, Cross River State.
The 29-year-old striker, who was omitted from the squad to the last Nations Cup in South Africa, will lead the Nigerian attack.
Another new face in the squad is Solomon Kwambe, who plays for Sunshine Stars of Akure..
Kwambe, who plays in the left full back position, was also dropped from the AFCON squad.
The nine other players in the starting line up featured in the last Cup of Nations.
Two other home-based players in the starting list are Sunday Mba and Godfrey Oboabona.
Oboabona is to pair Keneth Omeruo in the heart of defence.
