The High Court in Jos, Plateau State, which ousted the Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Aminu Maigari, could not sit again on Monday.
This followed the strike by the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, which commenced on Friday.
The court, headed by Justice L. D. Lot, it was expected would continue with the hearing of the suit and possibly lift the ban on Maigari and the NFF Board in order to avert a ban by world’s football governing body, FIFA.
FIFA, based on the plea by the Federal Government, had extended the date for the outright ban of Nigeria by two days.
It was moved from July 15 to July 17.
FIFA for now has suspended Nigeria from all its activities pending the resolution of the NFF crisis.
