M.I.C. Funeral Homes, owned by the late foremost undertaker in Nigeria, Tunji Okunsanya, seems to have lost patronage after the death of Okusanya in the ill-fated Associated Airline crash in Lagos a few month back.
Most of his major costumers are said to have picked interest in another top flight undertaker, Dehinde Harrison, owner of Ebony Funeral Home.
Information gathered by The Eagle Online confirmed that the business activities at the M.I.C. Funeral Homes have dwindled following the death of the CEO.
Okusanya’s first daughter, who relocated to Nigeria from the United Kingdom to steer the ship of the Home, is perceived to have neither the marketing strategy nor have technical know how to drag eminent Nigerians to the show room to pick caskets to give a befitting burial for their departed ones.
Unlike before, during the life time of Okusanya, the competition was so high between M.I.C. and Ebony.
While Ebony Home has a major strength at the national level and the Eastern part of Nigeria, Okusanya was a major player in the South West region of the country.
However, as a result of Okusanya’s death, Ebony is now smiling to the bank.
