The League Management Company has slammed various sanctions on coaches, players and officials, with Kano Pillars Coach Kadiri Ikhana fined and his Plateau United counterpart, Kennedy Boboye, handed a touchline ban.
Ikhana was fined N200,000 for blasting the referees who handled his team’s match at Plateau United, while Boboye has a three-match ban with two matches suspended after he engaged in near fisticuffs with a 3SC official.
Shooting Stars General Manager, Rasheed Balogun, was the official in question and he was fined N200,000.
Plateau United goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye, has also been suspended for a game for his role in incidents during a league game at Shooting Stars.
They all have a chance to appeal these penalties.
