The Lagos State Government has released the weather forecast for Monday (today).
The forecast was made available by the Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources on Sunday.
According to the forecast, cloudy skies and cool winds are expected to persist on Monday across the State.
Early morning scattered showers will be witnessed in parts of Ikeja, Lekki, Ikorodu and Badagry.
In the mid afternoon, there will be light to moderate rain and thunderstorms in Lekki, Victoria Island, Ojodu, Ogijo and parts of Ikeja, Ikota and Ikorodu.
Temperature is expected to range between 23°C and 29°C, humidity between 76 per cent and 96 per cent, with chilly winds of average speed of about 3m/s of predominantly WSW orientation.
Saturated soil and drainage conditions continue to heighten the risk of flooding, the forecast said, with areas presently experiencing flash flooding expected to continue to recede.
